WhatsApp bot data to external sources
Learn how to send or receive data from external sources in this Landbot tutorial. See all the integrations offered by Landbot, including the Google sheet integration.
In this video, we will show you how to send and receive data from external sources using Landbot's Google Sheets integration. At Landbot, we are constantly working on improving the way we integrate with other tools, and in the integration section you can see all the integrations we offer at the moment.
For this example, we will use the Google Sheets integration, which is very useful for instantly sending or receiving data from a spreadsheet. We want to capture the information of the user so we have it at our disposal when we need it. Therefore, we will create the respective rows where the information will be stored instantly.
Once we are done creating the spreadsheet, we can go back to Landbot and connect it with our Google account. Inside the block, we select the respective sheet we just created and the action to perform. We want to create a new row every time a new user interacts with the chatbot.
To complete the integration, we need to set what values go to the respective columns. Once we are done, we click on Apply, and the integration will be ready. If we test the bot and put the Google sheet side by side, we will see that once the conversation reaches the Google sheet Integration block, the information will be sent and stored.
We recommend checking our documentation to learn how to do it with other integrations, if that is your case. With Landbot's easy-to-use integrations, you can send and receive data from external sources effortlessly.
