In this Landbot tutorial, you will learn how to send or receive data from external sources, trying the Google sheet integration. Landbot constantly works on improving the way it integrates with other tools, and you can see all the integrations it offers at the moment in the integration section inside the App.
To set up the Google sheet integration, you will first need to create a spreadsheet in your Google account. This will allow you to capture information from the user so that it's available to you when you need it. Create the respective rows where the information will be stored instantly.
After creating the spreadsheet, go back to Landbot and connect it with your Google account. Select the respective sheet you just created and the action to perform. In this case, we want to create a new row every time a new user interacts with the chatbot. Set the values that go to the respective columns, click on Apply, and the integration will be ready.
When you test the bot and put the Google sheet side by side, you will see that once the conversation reaches the Google sheet Integration block, the information will be sent and stored. If you need to integrate with other tools, Landbot provides documentation to help you learn how to do it.With this tutorial, you'll have a better understanding of how to integrate with external sources, making data collection and processing more efficient.
