Build & Test your first WhatsApp bot

Are you interested in creating your very own chatbot on WhatsApp? In this video, we'll walk you through the process step by step. First, navigate to the chatbot icon and select "build a chatbot." From there, choose your preferred channel - in this case, we'll be using WhatsApp. Once you've made your selection, you'll be redirected to the template section. We recommend choosing a template to help you get started, but if you prefer to start from scratch, you can select that option too.

Next, you'll enter the builder, where you'll be able to edit and customize your chatbot flow. The green arrow indicates the direction that the conversation will follow, and you can drag and drop new blocks and features to add to the conversation.

Before you test your chatbot out, be sure to save it and add your phone number to the "tests" section. This will allow you to receive a WhatsApp notification on your phone, where you can interact with your bot and test its functionality. Keep in mind that if you plan to share your chatbot with customers, you'll need an official WhatsApp Business API account linked to Landbot.
