Plans and Pricing: Understanding Landbot’s Subscription Models

Landbot’s pricing models have something for everyone. 

Whether you’re an individual creating chatbots for your own personal projects, or an enterprise business wanting to automate operations, there’s a plan to suit your needs. 

In this article, we offer an overview of the main features of all our pricing plans for web and WhatsApp. If you’re a new client, it will help you decide which one is best for you. Or, if you’re already a Landbot customer, help you decide if it’s time for an upgrade.

Website

Our website chatbot plans range from the Sandbox plan (individuals) to the Business plan (large businesses), each of which has different pricing models and includes more or fewer features, according to the type of plan.

Sandbox

Price: Free

Chats included: 100/month

AI chats included: 0

The Sandbox plan is the perfect solution for individuals wanting to get started on chatbots and use them for personal needs or projects. 

It includes limited integrations and flow operations — for instance, you can use Variables, but no Conditions or Formulas. Still, it’s a great option to learn how our no-code builder works and what the basics of chatbot building are. 

In terms of support, Sandbox users have access to all public support content, like the Knowledge Base and the Academy, and email support, but there’s no dedicated success manager or access to the live chat support. 

Starter

The Starter plan is made for individuals who need a bit more from their chatbots than what’s included in the Sandbox plan, but it’s also a good option for small businesses. 

It gives you a bigger number of chats per month (500 vs. 100 in the Sandbox plan) and one more channel (Facebook Messenger) where you can implement your chatbot. The Starter plan also comes with more built-in integration options and gives you access to more of the builder’s functionalities, like Conditions and A/B Testing. 

When it comes to support, the Starter plan offers the same options as the Sandbox plan. 

Pro

Price: From 100€/month

Chats included: 2500/month

Extra chats: €0.05/chat

AI chats included: 30

The Pro plan has mid-size businesses, agencies, and growing startups in mind. 

It gives you everything that’s included in the Starter plan, plus advanced flow operations, custom branding for your chatbots, advanced integrations such as HubSpot, Calendly and more, as well as the option to integrate it with channels other than web and Facebook Messenger via an API. 

As for the support available, the Pro plan goes one step further and, since it has more complex features than the Sandbox and Starter plans, gives you access to live chat support. 

Business

The Business plan is the best option for large and enterprise businesses that need a fully customized plan and more support options. 

The keyword here is customization — the number of monthly chats available, and any extras you might need are tailored to your needs and the price is adapted accordingly. In terms of features and integrations, you get everything that’s included in the Pro plan, but without limitations (for example, Salesforce usage.) For an additional fee, Business customers can have WhatsApp as a channel as well. 

The bigger difference is related to the support provided to Business customers. They get access to not just our support content and live chat, but they also have a dedicated Success Manager, have priority support, and can have team training and custom documentation review (InfoSec, legal, and more.)

WhatsApp

To get the full usage out of WhatsApp you need to apply to the WhatsApp Business API. The API is available to any business as long as they comply with the WhatsApp Commerce and Business Policies

However, the green verification mark (Official Business Account) is only available to well-established medium and large businesses. For that reason, our WhatsApp plans only come in the Pro and Business options. 

In terms of integrations and flow operations, both plans include the same builder features as the Pro and Business web plans. For that reason, let’s focus on the WhatsApp-specific details and differences between our WhatsApp plans. 

Pro

The Pro plan for WhatsApp is intended for medium-sized businesses and growing startups that are just getting started with WhatsApp chatbots. 

The base price includes 1000 chats per month, one WhatsApp number, and one seat, but extras might be added to the plan. Each extra chat costs 0.05€ plus the applicable Meta costs, extra numbers cost 100€ per month and extra seats cost 25€ per month. 

As far as support goes, Pro WhatsApp users get access to live chat support, but not to a dedicated Success Manager. However, since Landbot is an official WhatsApp BSP, Pro customers have concierge onboarding, in which we provide support during each step of the set-up and onboarding process. 

Business

Similar to the web plans, the main difference between the Pro and the Business WhatsApp plans is that the Business plan’s pricing is fully customized to your needs. 

The base rate includes one WhatsApp number, but everything else — monthly chats, extra numbers, or extra seats — is adjusted to your business and your teams that will be using the WhatsApp channel. 

On top of the basic support options, Business customers also have a dedicated Success Manager, have priority support, can have team training and custom documentation review (InfoSec, legal, and more,) as well as concierge onboarding. 

Note 1: Both WhatsApp plans are annual commitments. You can pay for the duration of the full year contract upfront (20% discount) or in monthly installments. 

Note 2: For WhatsApp plans, we are currently offering a 3-month PoC for both WhatsApp plans. After that, you can either commit to an annual plan or cancel your account. 

How to Choose the Right Plan

When deciding on a Landbot plan for web or WhatsApp, there are a few things to consider.

There is, obviously, the price factor, but you also need to evaluate what you’ll be using Landbot for — customer support, lead generation, product recommendation, etc. — and how many people from your team will be using it. This will help you decide especially when it comes to the builder features and integrations available in each plan. 

We can’t make a decision for you, we can offer this piece of advice — pay special attention to what’s really important for you in terms of the support you’ll get with each plan. 

While we’d love to be able to provide priority support and have a dedicated Support Manager for all of our customers, that’s simply not possible, and we can’t make exceptions and offer you something that’s not included in your plan. So, for instance, if you really want a Landbot go-to person you can contact anytime and who’s dedicated to your account, you should consider subscribing to a Business plan.
